Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State marked his 60th birthday with a thanksgiving service and celebration held earlier today in the state capital, Makurdi.
The colourful event brought together family members, political associates, traditional leaders, and well-wishers who gathered to celebrate the milestone with the governor. Photos from the occasion show Governor Alia cutting a beautifully decorated “Happy 60” cake alongside his wife, as well as group photographs with dignitaries in both formal and traditional attire.
The celebration featured a joyful atmosphere with balloons, music, and festive decorations. Governor Alia was also seen in relaxed moments, including one holding a glass during the reception.
