The Executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has returned to Nigeria and Benue State after spending several weeks in the United States, where he participated in the 81st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA81) as part of Nigeria’s delegation.
During his stay in the United States, Governor Alia engaged with investors, international leaders and development partners as part of his efforts to attract investments, create opportunities and bring more development and economic activities back home to Benue State.
The Governor has returned looking healthy, strong, energetic and ready to continue his administrative responsibilities and advance his government’s development agenda. As Benue prepares for the upcoming elections, he is also expected to continue engaging with the people and his political supporters across the state.
