Listeners were educated on the benefits of the programme, with key stakeholders outlining the fitting process and encouraging eligible beneficiaries to participate.
The first phase of the free fittings for 320 prosthetic limbs is scheduled to take place from July 20 to July 27, 2026, at the Prosthetic Department of the Benue State University Teaching Hospital in Makurdi.
