An evacuation of unclaimed corpses is currently taking place at the mortuary of the Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH).
The exercise was captured in a live video shared on social media by Ukan P Kurugh, who described the activity as “Happening Now” and advised viewer discretion. The post was accompanied by the hashtags #CAUTION and #viewersdiscretionadvised.
The operation involves the removal of bodies that have remained unclaimed at the hospital’s mortuary facility.
