Gboko Youth Presents Donated Bus to Dr. Hwande, CMD of Benue State University Teaching Hospital

In a significant show of support, the youths of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Gboko branch, under the aegis of “Alia The Better,” donated a utility hummer bus to Dr. Terungwa Stephen Hwande, Chief Medical Director of Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH). The event took place on Monday, August 25, 2025.

The vehicle, a generous donation from Governor Hyacinth Alia, was handed over to the group led by Mr. Norgba Abur. This gesture aims to strengthen their activities and mobilization efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Receiving the group, Dr. Hwande expressed gratitude and urged the youths to remain steadfast in their support for Governor Alia. He highlighted the governor’s commitment to delivering democratic dividends, even amidst opposition from individuals who do not wish the state well.

Mr. Abur described the presentation of the bus to Dr. Hwande as symbolic, recognizing him as one of the governor’s appointees who has distinguished himself through a remarkable transformation at the teaching hospital. He assured that the group stands firmly behind Dr. Hwande’s senatorial ambition and is equally committed to ensuring Governor Alia secures a second term in 2027.
