A top priority for the interim body is the immediate registration of Lobi Stars for the 2025/2026 Nigeria National League (NNL) season—a critical step toward reclaiming a spot in the elite Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). The club, once a dominant force and 1999 champion of the Nigerian top flight, has struggled in recent seasons, plagued by ownership disputes, funding shortages, and poor results.
