Some Young Men Arrested Over Death of Fulani Leader in Benue State Released

Several young men arrested in connection with the death of a Fulani leader in Benue State have been released, according to a report by Idoma Television.

The development, described as “Freedom at Last,” comes after their detention following the incident. While the police are yet to provide details on the outcome of their investigation, the released individuals have been freed through the efforts of various stakeholders.

Special appreciation was extended to those who facilitated the release, including Barr. Aida Nath Ogwuche, Barr. Dino Idoko, Meddy Olotu, the Chairmen of Otukpo, Ohimini, and Agatu Local Government Areas, the Member representing Ohimini State Constituency in the Benue State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Ezekiel Adaji, Rt Hon Lami Danladi, Mr Michael Obeya, Hon Ada Mark Ogbole, and several others.

The incident had generated significant attention in the state, and the release brings some relief to the affected families pending further updates from security authorities.
