Kidnappers Demand ₦3 Million for Release of Igede Girl in Oju, Threaten to Kill Her by Sunday

A young girl remains in the custody of kidnappers who have demanded the sum of three million Naira for her release. The kidnappers contacted her family today and threatened to kill her by tomorrow, Sunday, if the money is not provided.

An appeal has been made to the Obi Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. David Ogewu, members of the House of Assembly from Obi, and all sons and daughters of Igede both at home and in the diaspora to come to the aid of the family and help raise the ransom to secure the girl’s freedom.

The appeal was issued from Oju, Igede, with a promise that an account number for contributions would be shared soon.
