The Office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), under the leadership of Mrs. Deborah Aber, has donated over 200 pieces of wrappers and the sum of ₦500,000 to the Alia Caregiver Initiative in a bid to support vulnerable persons across Benue State.
The donation, presented under the supervision of Hon. Denen Wandedoo, aims to strengthen the initiative’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to provide relief, care, and dignity to less privileged members of society.
Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Wandedoo expressed profound appreciation to Mrs. Deborah Aber for her generosity and unwavering support. He described the donation as a timely intervention that will significantly enhance the initiative’s outreach to those most in need.
Hon. Wandedoo noted that the contribution reflects the compassionate spirit of the present administration and its commitment to improving the lives of the less privileged. He called on individuals, organizations, and other stakeholders to emulate the gesture by supporting similar humanitarian initiatives.
The Alia Caregiver Initiative reaffirmed its commitment to transparent utilization of the donated items and funds to benefit intended recipients, while continuing to partner with government institutions and development partners to extend assistance to vulnerable communities across the state.
