The Coalition of Social Media Activists and Advocates for Good Governance and Accountability has called on Dr. Grace Adagba, Chairman of the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), to provide full details on the utilization of funds deducted from Vandeikya Local Government Area for basic education.

According to the coalition, between March and May 2026, an estimated ₦750 million to ₦960 million was deducted from the local government for basic education funding. The group expressed concern that despite the substantial deductions, many public primary schools in Vandeikya continue to suffer from dilapidated classrooms, inadequate learning facilities, and lack of visible developmental projects.
