Governor Alia Commences Connection of BENGIS to National 33KV Power Line, Donates 500KVA Transformer

Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia has taken a significant step towards improving electricity supply in BENGIS by commencing the process of connecting the area to the national 33KV power line.

As part of the electrification project, the Governor also donated a 500KVA transformer, electric poles, and cables to facilitate steady power distribution to the Ministry and the community.

The initiative is expected to boost economic activities, enhance business growth, improve security, and uplift the living conditions of residents in the area.

The project update was shared by Manasseh Akawe on social media, accompanied by images showing ongoing electrical infrastructure work.
