The Enone APC Forum has called for the immediate expulsion of Hon. Francis Ottah Agbo and Hon. Okoliko Aba from the All Progressives Congress (APC) for allegedly attempting to disrupt the ongoing direct primaries for the House of Representatives in Benue South.

In a strongly worded statement signed by its Spokesperson, Engr. John Apochi, the Forum accused supporters of the two aspirants of staging a protest at the primary venue in Okpoga, headquarters of Okpokwu LGA, on Saturday. The protesters reportedly carried placards reading “No Okoliko, No Election” and “Alia Leave Enone Alone,” demanding that Hon. Okoliko Aba be declared winner before voting could commence.

The Forum described the action as “thuggery and hooliganism” orchestrated to embarrass Governor Hyacinth Alia, who is the leader of the APC in the state. It further claimed the protest was a deliberate attempt to stop the electoral process.
