Security Tightened at Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University as Students Without ID Cards Turned Away

Security has been significantly beefed up at the main gates of Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, Makurdi (formerly Benue State University), with strict enforcement of access controls beginning this morning.

Observers noted that students without valid student Identity Cards are being denied entry into the campus, while security personnel are also turning back those dressed indecently. According to sources within the school security unit, the new directive forms part of measures by the university management aimed at checking insecurity, curbing the influx of non-students and cult-related activities, and promoting moral discipline on campus.
