Tiv Youth Organization Lauds President Tinubu for Appointing Dr. Gisaor as FHA Executive Director, Congratulates Appointee

The Tiv Youth Organization (TYO) has expressed profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment of Dr. Vincent Iorja Gisaor as the Executive Director of Finance and Accounts at the Federal Housing Authority (FHA). In a statement issued on July 21, 2026, the organization described the appointment as a demonstration of the President’s commitment to fairness, inclusiveness, and the recognition of competence in public service.

 

TYO noted that the decision to appoint another Tiv son to the position  previously occupied by a Tiv indigene before his resignation reflects the Federal Government’s confidence in the capacity, integrity, and professionalism of the Tiv people. The group highlighted Dr. Gisaor as a seasoned administrator, accomplished professional, and a man whose track record of excellence makes him eminently qualified for the important national assignment.

While congratulating Dr. Gisaor on his well-deserved appointment, the organization urged him to justify the confidence reposed in him through prudent financial management, transparency, accountability, and dedication to duty. TYO expressed confidence that his wealth of experience would contribute significantly to repositioning the Federal Housing Authority for greater efficiency and improved service delivery.

The Tiv Youth Organization called on the people of Benue State and the Tiv nation to rally behind the new Executive Director with prayers, encouragement, and support. The group prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and sound health for Dr. Gisaor, expressing optimism that his tenure would bring outstanding achievements that honour the Tiv nation, Benue State, and Nigeria at large.

TYO reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote the development of Tiv land and the appointment of qualified and deserving Nigerians into positions of national responsibility. The statement was signed by Mr. Vincent Kaior, President General of the Tiv Youth Organization.

The appointment has been widely celebrated across Tiv land, rekindling hope among Tiv youths and strengthening national unity through inclusive representation.
