Agatu Council Chairman Hon. Melvin James Ejeh Commends State Government for Inspection of Ongoing Projects

The Benue State Government, through the Bureau of Special Projects and Infrastructure, on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, carried out an inspection of key ongoing projects in Agatu Local Government Area.

The monitoring team, led by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Chief Tersoo Kula (represented by the TVC News team), inspected the renovation of classroom blocks at RCM Primary School in Oweto and Ogbaulu, as well as the construction of the Obagaji-Okokolo-Agagbe Road.

Hon. Melvin James Ejeh, Executive Chairman of Agatu Local Government Council and Deputy Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Benue State Chapter, commended Governor Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia for his commitment to infrastructure development.

Hon. Ejeh described the inspection as a clear demonstration of the Governor’s resolve to ensure projects are executed according to approved specifications, quality standards, and timelines. He noted that the exercise reflects the administration’s determination to deliver value for public funds through effective monitoring and supervision.

The Council Chairman reaffirmed the commitment of the Agatu Local Government Council to supporting the policies and development programmes of the Hyacinth Alia administration while working collaboratively to accelerate development in the area.
