About nine persons, including hospital staff, have been arrested in connection with the disappearance of a newborn baby from a hospital in Gboko, Benue State.
According to an update shared by Zege’Orkwande Sughnen Yaaya, the arrests followed the incident in which a newly delivered baby went missing from the Comprehensive Health Centre in Gboko earlier in the day.
The Benue State Police Command in Makurdi has requested the immediate transfer of the case to the State Criminal Investigation Department for a thorough investigation.
