Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia recently met with the traditional council, elders, and stakeholders of the Tombo community at the Government House in Makurdi. During the audience, he unveiled a series of key development initiatives aimed at uplifting the community.
The announced projects include the establishment of a Government Secondary School, electrification projects equipped with transformers to ensure a reliable power supply, and the inclusion of major road projects. These infrastructure developments are designed to enhance connectivity and stimulate economic growth within the region.
In a gesture of support, Fr. Alia extended aid to the community, providing 1,000 bags of rice and financial assistance to the people. He expressed deep gratitude for the solidarity, traditional blessings, and cultural gifts presented by the Tombo community, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to inclusive growth and sustainable development.
