Peaceful Protest Planned in Makurdi Over Insecurity, Demands Return of Abducted Children

Residents of Makurdi are being mobilised to participate in a peaceful protest scheduled for tomorrow at IBB Square, starting at 7am.

The protest, which calls on participants to come dressed in black, is themed around “Bring Back Our Children” and urges citizens to carry their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). Organisers have stressed that the demonstration will be completely peaceful with no tolerance for violence or criminal activities.

In a widely circulated message, participants are encouraged to report any suspicious observations to the police immediately and maintain calm throughout the exercise.
