Governor Alia Surprises Benue Artisan with ₦10 Million on Baptism Day

Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia of Benue State made an unexpected and generous visit to artisan Mr. Isaac Iordye on September 14, 2025—the very day the latter was scheduled for baptism—presenting him with a cash gift of ₦10 million.

The surprise gesture took place at Mr. Iordye’s shop, where the Governor personally handed over the sum to support the artisan’s livelihood and business. Hon. Haakyav Tombu Peter, who accompanied the Governor, added an additional ₦1 million to the donation.
