Benue Woman Faith Dominic Arrested in Benin for Alleged Trafficking of Three Girls

Anti-human trafficking crusader Zege’Orkwande Sughnen Yaaya has announced the arrest of Faith Dominic from Mbagbela in Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State.

According to Yaaya, Faith was taken into custody in Benin earlier today by his team for allegedly attempting to traffic three young girls from Afia in Ukum Local Government Area. The suspect reportedly promised the victims employment opportunities in Benin but instead held them in a room while making arrangements to smuggle them to Ghana to meet her sister.

The three victims are said to be currently safe as Faith remains in police custody awaiting the outcome of further investigation.

The development was copied to the Benue State Police Command in Makurdi, the Benue State Government, and NAPTIP Nigeria for necessary action.
