Family in Kwande LGA Raises Alarm as Young Man Bem Alu Elijah Goes Missing

A family in Kohov, Shangev-ya, Tse Iber, Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State has been thrown into anguish after their son, Bem Alu Elijah, suddenly went missing.

Bem was last seen on the morning of 28th November 2025 when he left home wearing black shorts and a black-and-white T-shirt. The dark-skinned young man of average height, who keeps a small beard around his mouth, has not been seen or heard from since.

His worried relatives have now launched a public appeal, pleading with anyone who may have sighted him or knows his whereabouts to come forward with information.

Bem’s family described him as a peaceful and responsible young man whose sudden disappearance is completely out of character, deepening their fear that something untoward may have happened.

Residents of Kwande and neighbouring communities have been urged to help spread the word and keep an eye out for him, especially in markets, motor parks, hospitals, and along major roads.
