A devastating road accident has claimed the life of a young man along the Koti Apra axis on the Ikogen-Adikpo road in Benue State.
The incident occurred on December 30, 2025, as the victims were returning from Ikogen Market to Adikpo. Eyewitnesses reported that one occupant died instantly at the scene, while others sustained injuries of varying degrees.
Residents who witnessed the crash described it as sudden and heartbreaking, prompting an outpouring of sympathy from passersby and the local community.
Police have taken custody of the deceased’s body and issued a public appeal for anyone who may recognize him or have information about his identity to come forward. Reports should be made at the Adikpo Police Station to assist with identification and necessary documentation.
