NUJ Benue Announces Death of Radio Benue Deputy Director Patrick Omora

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Benue State Council, has announced the death of Mr. Patrick Omora, Deputy Director of Current Affairs at Radio Benue, describing his passing as a significant loss to the media community.

In a statement issued by the Chairman of the council, Bemdoo Michael Ugber, the union expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the veteran journalist, who was an active member of the NUJ and a respected voice in the state’s broadcast sector.

The statement, made available to journalists, called on members and well-wishers to remember the deceased’s family in prayers during this difficult period.

Omora, until his death, served in a key editorial role at Radio Benue, contributing to current affairs programming and public discourse in the state.

The NUJ also extended its condolences to the Radio Benue Chapel and the immediate family of the late broadcaster.

“The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Benue State Council, regrets to inform our esteemed members of the demise of one of our members and Deputy Director, Current Affairs, Radio Benue, Mr. Patrick Omora,” the statement read.
