Makurdi Digital Creator Kwegi Hyacinth Igba’s Car Stolen in Broad Daylight at Food Domain

Popular Benue-based content creator and comedian Kwegi Hyacinth Igba, widely known as “Mimidoo,” is counting his losses after thieves made away with his silver Toyota Corolla on Monday evening, right in the heart of Makurdi.

According to a post the Federal University of Agriculture alumnus made on his verified Facebook page, the vehicle was stolen on December 9, 2025, at exactly 6:50 p.m. along the new Otukpo Road, Food Domain area, directly opposite the NNPC Filling Station.

“My car has been stolen this evening 9/12/2025 at 6:50 pm at Food Domain new Otukpo road near NNPC FILLING STATION Makurdi Benue state,” he wrote, alongside clear photographs of the missing Corolla (registration details visible) showing both front and rear views.

Friends, followers, and colleagues quickly turned the post into a public alert, pushing it across multiple platforms with the hashtags #Viral #Benue #TrendingPost. Within hours, the announcement had been shared thousands of times as concerned citizens urged anyone with information to reach out.

The incident has reignited conversations about rising car theft in Makurdi, especially in busy commercial areas where vehicles are often parked for only a few minutes. Many commenters expressed shock that the theft happened in broad daylight and in such a high-traffic location.
