Bishop Wilfred Chikpa Anagbe Calls for Excavation and Expansion of Naka Main Dam

Most Rev. Dr. Wilfred Chikpa Anagbe, CMF, the Catholic Bishop of Makurdi Diocese, has called for the excavation and expansion of the Naka Main Dam in Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue State as the strategic solution to the area’s water challenges.

Speaking at the funeral mass in honour of the late Veronica Atume at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Naka, the Bishop submitted that placing GP Tanks in strategic areas within Naka town is only a temporary measure. He stressed that proper excavation and expansion of the dam remains the only viable way to ensure adequate water circulation and availability for residents.
