Benue SEMA Receives NEMA Relief Materials in Jos for IDPs and Vulnerable Person

The Executive Secretary of the Benue State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), Sir James Aondoakaa Iorpuu, PhD, on October 4, 2026, received assorted food and non-food relief materials from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) in Jos, Plateau State. The items are meant for internally displaced persons and vulnerable individuals in Benue State.

Sir James thanked NEMA for its sustained support and longstanding collaboration with Benue SEMA, describing the intervention as timely and important in alleviating the hardships faced by affected communities. He assured that the materials would be transparently and judiciously distributed to the intended beneficiaries in line with the people-centred policies of the Benue State Government.
