Nigerian cyclist and humanitarian Real-Emmiwuks has announced plans to embark on a continent-wide cycling journey tagged Round My Continent Africa (Project RMC).
The expedition is scheduled to begin on July 27, 2026, from Lagos, Nigeria, with the aim of promoting hope, unity, and resilience across Africa while raising awareness for orphans and internally displaced persons (IDPs).
According to Emmiwuks, the initiative is inspired by his renewed purpose after overcoming a major health challenge in 2023 and builds on his previous Nigeria-to-United States cycling campaign. The ambitious project is expected to traverse multiple African countries, highlighting stories of resilience and encouraging collective action towards supporting vulnerable populations.
The cyclist’s latest endeavour has generated excitement among youth and humanitarian circles, positioning him as a symbol of determination and service to humanity. Further details on the route and support partners are expected to be released in the coming days.
