Benue Fruits Processing Factory Nears Full Production as Government Reaffirms Industrialisation Drive

The Benue Fruits Processing Factory, operated by the Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC), is on track to commence full production, according to recent statements from Alia TV Network and a social media post by Raymond Asemakaha Jr. Asemakaha, in a message shared online, announced that the facility is on its way to beginning full-scale operations and called on farmers to prepare their oranges and tomatoes for supply, adding, “Together Benue will be great.”

Alia TV Network later clarified that the factory, which had previously undergone a test-run, remains very much in progress, with assurances that the final outcome will be truly impressive. The network urged the public to trust the process, stating that Asemakaha will deliver on the project as well.

Governor Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, according to the network, remains focused, committed, and determined in his vision to make Benue State an industrial hub.

The administration has repeatedly emphasised that agro-industrialisation is a central pillar of its development blueprint, with the fruits processing factory expected to create jobs, reduce post-harvest losses, and provide a reliable market for smallholder farmers. “The journey to making Benue State an industrial hub is fully underway, and it is a goal that must be achieved,” Alia TV Network affirmed.
