Benue Deputy Governor Barr. Dr. Sam Ode Pledges One Million Votes for Tinubu in 2027

The Deputy Governor of Benue State, Barr. Dr. Sam Ode, has reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to delivering more than one million votes for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in the 2027 presidential election.

Ode restated the pledge on Thursday during an inspection of state and Federal Government projects by the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in collaboration with the Presidential Media Team. Responding to questions on how Benue people intend to reciprocate the Federal Government’s investment in the state, the deputy governor said Governor Hyacinth Alia’s earlier promise to secure over one million votes for President Tinubu remains achievable.

Ode attributed the state’s support for the President to the Federal Government’s ongoing infrastructure and development projects in Benue. He also defended the establishment of the Food Basket Brewery, describing it as part of the Alia administration’s drive to stimulate economic growth and create jobs. According to him, the facility produces both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and was conceived to harness the state’s large market while boosting local investment. The deputy governor noted that the project complements President Tinubu’s call on state governments to invest in initiatives that directly improve the lives of citizens.
