On October 11, 2025, the first-ever health insurance campaign, challenge, and rally concluded in Benue State, drawing significant participation and attention. Organized by EVOLVE Africa, in collaboration with the Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), the event marked a milestone in promoting health awareness and insurance uptake.

The 20-day initiative, which ran from September 20 to October 11, featured a diverse range of activities. A key component was an online health awareness series, educating the public on conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, tuberculosis, obesity, depression, anxiety, and physiological states like pregnancy. Participants were also encouraged to share personal stories, including their best doctor encounters, worst health experiences, and how health insurance could have made a difference.
