Governor Alia Reinforces Youth Inclusion and Transparency in Benue State

Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to youth inclusion as a deliberate policy to drive development across the state. Speaking on Tuesday, the governor emphasized the importance of integrity and transparency in governance during a statement released at 4:44 PM.

Governor Alia stressed that local government chairmen must ensure accountability in managing public resources. He highlighted funds requiring full transparency, including monthly federal allocations, constituency project funds, internally generated revenue, security vote funds, and additional support from the state government. He urged citizens to hold their council chairmen accountable, warning that failure to provide transparency could lead to the intervention of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
