Suspected Child Trafficker Apprehended at Akpehe in Makurdi

A suspected child trafficker has been apprehended at Akpehe in Makurdi, Benue State, after allegedly coming from Buruku to traffic school children around the Old St. Joseph Church area.

According to a report circulating on social media, the woman was intercepted while attempting to take the children. Residents were advised to move those involved to the E Division of the Benue State Police Command in Makurdi as soon as possible. Images from the scene showed the suspect seated with a group of schoolchildren in uniform.
