Jime Leads APC Aspirants to Pledge Loyalty to SGF George Akume

Rt Hon Barr. Emmanuel Liambee Jime, immediate past Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Shippers Council and 2019 APC Governorship candidate in Benue State, has led a high-powered delegation of All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirants and stakeholders from the state on a solidarity visit to Sen Dr George Akume, CON, Secretary to the Government of the Federation and Leader of the APC in Benue State and the North Central Zone.

The delegation reaffirmed its unwavering loyalty to the APC leadership and pledged total support for the party under the guidance of the SGF, whom they described as the undisputed leader of the APC in Benue State and the North Central region. Speaking on behalf of the group, Jime emphasized the need for unity, discipline, and collective commitment among party faithful ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The delegation included several prominent figures such as Chief Nelson Alapa, Douglas Pepe SAN, Engr. Peter Ashieka, QS Clement Beetseh, former Commissioners Joy Luga and Ann Itodo, Barr. Martins Shaagee, and many other APC leaders and aspirants.

In response, Sen Dr George Akume commended the delegation for demonstrating unity and maturity, urging party members to remain focused on strengthening the APC at all levels.

He stressed that unity, justice, and inclusiveness remain the foundation for the party’s continued electoral success. The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to work together for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and victory for the APC in Benue State.
