The Benue State House of Assembly has directed the Commissioner for Youths and Sports and Creativity, Rt. Hon. Terkimbi Kyange, to terminate with immediate effect the contract for the renovation of Lobi Stars Stadium awarded to Monimichelle Sports Facility Construction Limited.

The Assembly has also instructed the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Fidelis Myim, to institute a fraud case against the company within seven days. In addition, the House resolved to engage anti-graft agencies for the arrest and investigation of the contractor and summoned all relevant parties from the Ministry of Works and Housing involved in the new ₦2.1 billion contract to appear before it.
