The Executive Chairman of Ukum Local Government Area, Hon. Jonathan Modi, has officially flagged off the Phase One road construction project approved by Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia.
The flag-off ceremony, which took place in Zaki-Biam, was witnessed by traditional rulers, political stakeholders, market leaders, and residents of the area. The project covers key roads including the stretch from Wukari Junction to Yam Market Junction, as well as the road linking Yam Market Junction to Y-Junction, all within Zaki-Biam.
Speaking at the event, community leaders and APC stakeholders commended Governor Alia for his commitment to infrastructural development and praised Hon. Modi for his people-centered leadership and dedication to the welfare of Ukum residents.
The Managing Director of ARKAN Building Limited, Engr. Mazen Kalassina, assured that the company would deliver quality work within the specified timeline.
Hon. Modi expressed appreciation to Governor Alia for his support and reiterated his administration’s commitment to delivering impactful projects that will transform Ukum Local Government Area.
