Hon. Queen Ochepo, the incoming member of the Benue State House of Assembly representing Agatu Constituency, has commended Governor Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia for his commitment to gender equality by providing women with opportunities to serve in his administration.
In a statement, Hon. Ochepo expressed deep appreciation to the governor for what she described as fairness and inclusiveness in governance. She noted that giving women prominent roles demonstrates the governor’s dedication to empowering women and ensuring balanced representation in leadership positions.
She also thanked the people of Agatu Local Government Area for their steadfast support for her political aspiration and for the massive grassroots backing she continues to receive alongside Governor Alia.
