Tiv Communities in Kadarko Cry Out Over Farm Destruction by Herdsmen

Tiv communities in Kadarko ward, Keana local government area of Nasarawa State, are raising alarm over the ongoing destruction of farms and crops by herdsmen. According to an anonymous source, herdsmen and their cattle have grazed over 100 farms, leaving poor farmers traumatized and their livelihoods at risk.

The source revealed that the Paramount ruler of Kadarko has been informed about the situation but has yet to take meaningful action to stop this “inhuman act.” The affected areas include Alima, Gidan Mori, Tamen, Nguchi, Akpem, and others, where farmers are struggling to cope with the devastation.
