Prototype of the Proposed Wurukum Roundabout in Makurdi Storms the internet

We recently made a publication about the recent demolition of the Wurukum roundabout in order to create room for the new development of the flyover at the busy junction of Makurdi metropolis. A few hours later, some images which are said to be the prototype of the incoming flyover were shared by the newly reappointed Commissioner for Works, Housing, and Urban Development, Hon. Tiza Imojime, on his Facebook account.

The Wurukum roundabout in Makurdi is set to receive a major upgrade, with a new design nearing completion. A recent post also shared by Krayzeetee Atu Terver showcased an aerial view of the project, highlighting the modern infrastructure expected to enhance traffic flow and aesthetics in the area.

It was also reported by ‘Ohitty TV/Radio’  on a Live stream about the visit of the Governor to ensure the commencement of the project was on point.

The project has garnered praise, with thanks extended to the President for approving Governor Alia’s request to facilitate this initiative, tagged under the #ILoveBenue campaign. The Flyover is anticipated to be a significant addition to the region’s infrastructure once fully completed.
