The Benue State House of Assembly has extended the suspension of former Speaker, Rt. Hon. Aondona Dajoh, and former Majority Leader, Comrade Saater Tiseer, for an additional three months.
The extension, according to reports, will remain in effect pending the final determination of the matter in court or the withdrawal of their petition against the House.
The development comes as a significant update in the ongoing leadership crisis within the Benue State legislature. Both suspended lawmakers have been at the centre of a prolonged dispute with the current assembly leadership.
Further details on the matter are expected as the situation continues to unfold.
