Benue Assembly Staff Yahim Stanley Alleges Betrayal by Brother Leading to His Removal from Office

Yahim Stanley Goldheart, a former permanent staff member of the Benue State House of Assembly, has publicly accused his own brother from Mbatiav of orchestrating his removal from his position through false allegations.

In a detailed Facebook post, Goldheart recounted how he secured his role through Rt. Hon. Aondona Dajoh and continued serving diligently even after Dajoh’s resignation as Speaker. He claimed that one day at the office, a leader in the House informed him that his brother had accused him of secretly working as Gboko Local Government Campaign Coordinator for Sebastian Hon SAN, a political figure.

Goldheart denied the allegation, stating that as a civil servant, his primary duty was to his employer and that it would have been impossible for him to take on such a political role while performing his official responsibilities. Despite his explanations, he received a letter from the Speaker on Monday, April 20, 2026, at about 3:25 pm, informing him that his services were no longer needed.

He expressed deep disappointment and confusion over his brother’s actions, questioning why a family member with political influence would choose to undermine rather than support his success. Goldheart asked pointedly: “Should a brother who has political powers and privileges use it in uplifting his people or destroying them instead???”
