APC Issues Disclaimer, Warns Against Fake List of Senatorial Candidates

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has warned the general public to disregard a purported list of senatorial candidates currently circulating on social media, describing it as fake.

In a statement issued on June 4, 2026, the party clarified that the so-called “Concluded List of APC Senatorial Candidates So Far” did not emanate from the APC and should be ignored entirely.

The APC reiterated that only the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party, through its duly authorized channels, is empowered to announce the list of candidates emerging from primary elections and other constitutionally prescribed processes.

Signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, CON, the statement urged party members, stakeholders, and the media to refrain from circulating unverified information that could cause confusion or undermine the party’s democratic processes.
