The Executive Secretary of the Teaching Service Board (TSB) in Makurdi, Rt. Hon. BEM Jacob Tseen, CNA, marked the 2025 Christmas season with staff members in a heartfelt gathering filled with appreciation, reflection, and generosity on December 22, 2025.
Addressing the assembled workers, Rt. Hon. Tseen praised their unwavering dedication and urged them to maintain high standards of commitment, diligence, and professionalism in carrying out their responsibilities. He stressed that sustained hard work from the Board’s staff would significantly bolster the ongoing efforts of the Benue State Government, particularly under an administration that has consistently prioritized education and worked to strengthen the sector statewide.
The Executive Secretary encouraged everyone to keep praying for the Governor and the Board’s leadership, asking for divine guidance and success in fulfilling the important duties entrusted to them. Highlighting the deeper meaning of the season, he reminded staff that Christmas symbolizes love, peace, and unity, calling on them to embody these values both in their workplaces and within their communities.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for staff to look back on the year’s accomplishments while renewing their resolve to advance the core objectives of the Teaching Service Board. In a generous gesture to enhance the festivities, Rt. Hon. Tseen donated cows and bags of rice to support the Christmas celebrations.
