Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, today arrived at the Benue State Assembly Complex in Makurdi to formally present the 2026 Appropriation Bill to lawmakers. The governor was warmly received by the Speaker of the 10th Benue State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Berger Alfred Emberga MNIQS.
Accompanying the governor were his Deputy, Dr. Sam Ode Mni, members of his cabinet, and key leadership figures from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state. The presentation marks a key step in the annual budgetary process, setting the fiscal direction for the coming year.
Residents and stakeholders eagerly await the full details of the budget, including its size, thematic focus, and allocations to priority sectors such as infrastructure, agriculture, education, health, and security.
