Ortom Accuses Alia of Involvement in Peter Obi’s Benue Blockade

Former Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has accused serving Governor Hyacinth Alia of involvement in the obstruction of Peter Obi’s planned visit to Yelwata in Guma Local Government Area. Ortom described the incident as unacceptable.

The allegation against the state government has not been independently established. Benue State Government has denied any responsibility for the blockade. Police authorities stated that they were informed of Obi’s intended visit and have arrested 46 suspects as investigations into the matter continue.
