Gboko Intercepts Human Trafficking Ring Carrying Three Benue Minors Awaiting Transfer to Ghana for Prostitution

In a swift operation that has sent shockwaves across the state, security operatives in Gboko have intercepted another group of suspected human traffickers. The arrest occurred just now, with one suspect, Ternenge John, from Vandeikya LGA, nabbed while he was moving three young Benue minors to his madam in Ghana with the intent of forcing them into prostitution.

The three girls, whose identities have been masked for their safety, were apprehended in the act of being transferred to the capital of the alleged trafficking syndicate. In a bold and decisive move, the local team moved the minors to the Tor Tiv Palace in Makurdi for traditional investigation before handing them over to the Benue State Police Command for formal investigation and prosecution.
