Otukpo Chairman Hon. Prince Maxwell Ogiri Imposes Night Curfew in Ugboju District

The Chairman of Otukpo Local Government Area, Hon. Prince Maxwell Ogiri, has declared an immediate curfew in Ugboju District.

Under the directive, movement is restricted between 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM. The chairman also ordered the immediate removal of roadblocks erected by alleged protesters in the area.

The measure comes amid heightened security concerns in the district following recent violent incidents.

According to reports, security personnel have been deployed to strategic locations, including the royal palace, to prevent any breakdown of law and order.

The measure comes in the wake of the violent attack on Efeyi-Ugboju that left multiple people dead and several others injured.
