Concern Raised Over Massive Orange Waste in Benue as Calls Mount for Food Preservation

A concerned Benue resident has raised alarm over the large-scale wastage of oranges in the state, questioning whether Benue remains the food basket of the nation or has become a centre of waste.

The writer lamented that waste has become the default option and asked what happened to preservation methods such as processing the fruits into juice.
