Akaahan Paul Questions Track Record of APC Senatorial Candidate Aber Terseer

Akaahan Paul, in a Facebook post, has reacted to the emergence of Assistant Comptroller General (ACG) Rtd. Benjamin Aber Terseer as the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Benue North-West (Zone B).

While acknowledging the party’s decision, the post raised concerns about the retired senior Customs officer’s record of service, asking: “How many lives did he truly impact while serving as a Customs General?”

The writer noted that many people in the zone are questioning the candidate’s tangible contributions, suggesting that for the people to have chosen him at this critical moment, there must be unseen positive impacts. However, he warned that if such impact is lacking, Zone B may have made another “costly political mistake,” moving “from frying pan to fire.”

Akaahan Paul emphasized that leadership should be about visible impact, empowerment, and genuine service to the people rather than titles, connections, or influence. He concluded that the people of Zone B deserve leaders with proven records, not just promises that surface during election periods.
