The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State has erupted in celebration following the inclusion of the state’s APC Caretaker Committee Chairman, Hon. Dr. Ben Omale, in the Convention Legacy and Rapporteur Committee for the party’s upcoming National Convention.
A list released by the APC National Secretariat confirmed Dr. Omale’s appointment to the prestigious Rapporteur Committee, a critical body responsible for documenting convention proceedings, capturing deliberations accurately, preparing communiqués and resolutions, and overseeing the archiving of all convention materials. The committee plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the outcomes of the national gathering accurately reflect the decisions and consensus of delegates from across the country.
Party stakeholders in Benue described the appointment as a major endorsement of Dr. Omale’s leadership capacity, political maturity, and standing within the APC at the national level.
