Colourful pictorials have emerged from the ongoing celebration of Benue State at 50, taking place in Makurdi, the state capital.
The event, held under a grand pavilion adorned with blue and white decorations, drew large crowds of citizens, traditional rulers, government officials, and dignitaries. A striking red carpet was rolled out for prominent guests, many dressed in elegant traditional attires, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the state.
The atmosphere was filled with pomp and pageantry as Benue indigenes gathered to mark five decades of the state’s existence. Traditional leaders and community representatives were prominently seated, showcasing unity and pride during the historic milestone.
The golden jubilee celebration continues to highlight Benue’s journey, achievements, and aspirations as the state commemorates 50 years of creation.
